This ‘Startup and Entrepreneur Inspiring’ event is brought in partnership with Charnwood Borough Council & Loughborough University and will be an opportunity to learn, share and network with businesses, partner organisations (banks, investors, support agencies), startups and enterprising academics.
Showcasing inspiring talks from start-ups/entrepreneurs sharing their successes, challenges, and insight into their journey, how they brought in their team, funding/investment and grew their business.
The event session also wants to hear your ideas and feedback of how start-ups and founders can be supported going forward. We aim to capture this conversation and produce a write-up to share with registered participants. The write up will highlight key points discussed and include actional suggestions.
Networking with entrepreneurs, local start-up support and the wider ecosystem. A great opportunity to visit the newly refurbished Incubator event space at Loughborough University as well as follow on visits to the Careers & Enterprise Hub in Loughborough Town Centre available.

Charnwood Borough Council and Loughborough University have partnered together to bring you this event and we would like to inform you that the delegate data that is provided on registration will be shared between the two partners. This will also, in addition to the Privacy Notice details issued by Leicester Business Festival and noted within the registration.
This event is part of the Healthy and Innovative Loughborough project which is being supported by Loughborough Town Deal which has secured £16.9 million from the Government's Towns Fund. Loughborough Town Deal is backing 11 projects which are boosting skills, helping regenerate the town and supporting the visitor economy. The projects are worth over £40 million of total investment into Loughborough.
